Writing Workshop with Aerach Aiteach Gaelach

AAG Writing Workshop in Belfast

AerachAiteachGaelach will be holding a writing workshop in the Cultúrlann McAdam Ó Fiaich, on 18 May 2024, from 10:00 to 15:00.

It will be an interactive workshop with two award-winning writers. Sam Ó Fearraigh - poet, playwright, actor, and screenwriter - will discuss the craft of screenwriting with us and Seán Ó Muireagáin - community activist, poet, and short story writer - will discuss aspects of prose writing.

This is a great opportunity to put pen to paper and develop writing skills. AerachAiteachGaelach is an exciting arts cooperative group with over 120 Irish artists, including writers, musicians, playwrights, photographers, drag performers and video and sound artists. The poets Ciara Ní É and Eoin McEvoy set up the group at the beginning of 2020 in the Abbey Theatre, Dublin and they are the same two who are currently co-directing the group. This workshop is being funded with the support of Foras na Gaeilge through the Literature Scheme. Stiofán Ó Briain is the Workshop Coordinator of the AerachAiteachGaelach.
