The F.O.C.U.S. Club is a small community group for adults with learning disabilities, based in Lenadoon. Since its inception, Club members have been networking with various tutors and
organisations. This has enabled them to access a great variety of activities and opportunities in their local community and further afield. The Club promotes the rights of Choice, Self-Advocacy and Citizenship for all its members. The Focus Club aims to support adults with a learning disability and to give them the knowledge and opportunities to enable them to organise and run their own day care. Members love crafting - and Felting was something new to try. The group had
workshops with local artist Marie Louise Gormley and the members carried on Felting. The exhibition is called ‘Blood, Sweat and Felt’. There was some blood, some tears, and lots of hard work and sweat, to produce the pictures for the display.
You are very welcome to come to the launch of this exhibition at 7:00pm on 07/11/2019 in the Ballaí Bána. Refreshments will be provided.
