A lecture on Bóthar Seoighe's generation and the trace they left on the contemporary language movement' with PhD researcher Róisín Nic Liam

Róisín Nic Liam from Cork is an Irish language activist and PhD Researcher on the contemporary revival of the Irish language in Belfast since the Good Friday Agreement (1998), focusing primarily on youth engagement with the grassroots-led revival, as part of a collaborative doctorate project between Queen’s University Belfast and Glór na Móna.

This talk is part of the Liú Lúnasa festival, and will be in Irish with a simultaneous translation service offered.
